This website was built for elite golf of Arizona. a golf school that focused on both Junior and adult players of varying skill level, elite golf needed a web presence that allowed them to showcase many other different programs and was exciting and engaging enough to invite sign ups.
We designed this website using green black and white. Green was a easy Choice given that the client had a sport centered around playing on grass. The contrast of these colors worked out very well, and the site has a lot of Pop.
The site is also very search optimization friendly. we engage with this company on a monthly marketing program and have worked extensively to make it as relevant and Google friendly as possible. It loads fast and performs well on all devices. It is not JavaScript dependant and does not use any older Technologies such as mobile redirects, it is 100% responsive.
This site needed to feature several different programs which meant several different types of demographics were being targeted. We wanted to appeal to Junior and high school golf players, and for those pages we needed to create marketing materials that were exciting and action oriented. For our adult and advanced players we needed to emphasize the skill level of the coaches that run the school.
we of course use different pages for the different types of services. This is a technique known as creating landing pages. Landing pages can be centered around specific services or products, or they can be targeted at certain Geographic areas for specific services or products. in this instance we created landing pages for each of the different programs targeted at each of the different demographics and link them up from drop-down menus in the main navigation.
Creating an effective navigation requires understanding how your users flow through your site and how search engines distribute page ranking or domain authority through your site. If you load up your navigation with low-quality Pages or low interest Pages they will not garner many clicks and your potential clients will be wandering through your site instead of effectively moving to conversion. From a search engine standpoint if you put pages that you do not expect to rank well on your main navigation you are wasting the flow of your page rank to poor quality pages that really never were intended to rank wel. Optimizing for your page rank flow does optimize for your user experience. If you put more interesting pages, with better content, on your main nav, you will experience lower bounce rates, and a more engaged audience.
